Tribute to Janette Craig

One of our Angel Donors got her wings!
Janette Craig came into our life in August of 1983. She responded to an and we placed in the Olathe paper, seeking volunteer nature guides at the new Prairie Center Nature Center. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, creative and truly a delightful person. Her sincere warmth and openness elevated our friendship to “family” status. We were a part of each other’s family for 41.5 years!
She was always ready for a new adventure and supportive of our wild endeavors. Janette was a true friend. We worked, played and traveled together. Our lives were entwined.
When I started the Mohling Foundation, after Wendell died, she donated items for fundraiser auctions, purchased at auctions, gave advice and positive support as well as financial support.
Her joy and hugs will be deeply missed. But my heart is filled with so many wonderful memories of “life with Nettie”!
If you were lucky enough to be one of her many friends, you are invited to make a donation to honor her memory. She was a friend and admirer of Wendell and your donation can be made in her honor.
